1 step forward....

most of you have probably caught the drift with my little preemie that often times when we make progress in one area... we take 2 steps backwards in another. So, the good news is PORTER IS GRADUATING FROM PHYSICAL THERAPY! He has caught up on his motor skills & is doing awesome! This is our amazing therapist, Julie! She has been coming to our house every other week for about the last year.

The discouraging news is we are no longer working with our Occupational Therapist, Melinda (who helps Porter with eating), because we've tried EVERYTHING & we've exhausted all her ideas & resources! Which basically means Porter's eating habits are behavioral & he has to decide he WANTS to eat! Until then, I've made an appointment with a GI doctor to get a second opinion to make sure there isn't something anatomically wrong that is making it hard for him to swallow & keep everything from spilling right back out! In a bad way, I'm almost hoping they find something wrong so we can fix it, & move past this! So, until then, we'll just "keep on keepin on!"
